It’s not often I review a brush… they’re normally just, well, brushes!
As many of you know I love my Smashbox brushes and have used them for years, but lately I’ve been testing out some new ones.
As soon as I received my Arbonne Mineral Powder Brush I loved it – it’s a weighty thing, but in a good way!
Designed especially for mineral powder foundations, unlike the classic Kabuki brushes, the Arbonne brush has a handle – yippee! I’ve always found gripping and controlling Kabuki brushes awkward, so yes, I got excited about the handle!! And the weight adds to the controllability.
The bristles are tightly packed and cleverly shaped – at first glance I thought it would be too hard and rough on the skin, but it’s so so lovely and soft.
It takes the powder very evenly and applies very well for a good even finish – I’ve tried it with Arbonne’s own Got You Covered Mineral Powder Foundation, BareMinerals foundation from Bare Escentuals and Smashbox Halo.
Fab, just fab!
