The texture is a thick gel-cream which smells quite salon-y, very comparable to most of the high street brands.
It cleanses very well and leaves hair shiny and fairly soft, without feeling weighed down. Although it doesn’t strip the hair, you will need a conditioner and the matching Youth Vitality Conditioner is recommended, though we found this works well with our current conditioners (Arbonne, Tresemme, John Frieda).
Once dry, hair does feel slightly fuller, but we all found we needed to wash our hair more frequently than before and it’s difficult to say whether this shampoo had any true lasting anti-ageing effect.
Reasonable value for money, with an RRP of £5.99, but we’re more likely to opt for other brands around this price-point.
