While this mascara didn’t wow us, it really is good…
It didn’t give us the effects it promises – length, volume, curl – but it did stay put and once you get the hang of the brush you only need one sweep of it to give a good coat.
Two or three coats and you risk clogging, but you can get a decent build-up of colour with care.
The Black Satin is a good black, the brown, khaki and rose are worth trying if they’re your preferred shades – such shades are often few and far between across the brands.
At £23.50, nah, not our first choice, but if you like Givenchy and don’t mind the cost, or you’re looking for the khaki or rose shades, this is a good everyday mascara – not quite an evening one for us as it didn’t perform enough on length.
